About

I’m Guglielmo. I strive to create great experiences for both users and developers.

Self-taught programmer since high school, I solidified my skills through years of real-word work experience.

I took my skills to the next level by collecting the best courses, books and workshops out there, like Kent C. Dodds’ “Epic Web Dev” full-stack workshop, or Sara Soueidan’s “Practical Accessibility” – just to name a couple.

I used to be addicted to CSS-Tricks articles more than Instagram stories, and I’m always on the lookout to increase my toolset.

I worked alongside fantastic developers and designers, who raised the bar of what I expect from any web app, both in terms of code base and UX.

My experience goes from setting up frameworks and design systems to implementing complex layouts and pixel-perfect designs.

I designed and coded apps from scratch that were later used at scale, as well as implemented others’ talented design work, including animations and 3D models

One of my favourite things about this job is developer experience. The idea of a colleague picking up my work, reading my documentation or using my abstractions without hating their life truly fills me with joy.

I feel at my best whenever I use React, but I worked with many other languages and tools over the years, such as Typescript, Svelte, d3 and three.js. I used frameworks like Remix, Astro and Next.js, and libraries like TanStack Query, Jotai, Redux and many, many more.
